Using PuTTY to connect to Linux

PuTTY can do a lot more than allow you to log into Linux from another system. It also allows you to tailor your window in several ways. Here’s a great walkthrough on installing PuTTY and configuring settings to make it right for your administrative needs and hobbies. This was written by a 30 year veteran who calls herself a 30-year veteran of Unix – as a “second language.”
